It's god's name!
It’s God’s own Name! Jesus inherited His name from the Almighty God. “Wherefore God also hath exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heavern, and things in earth, and things under the earth. Philippians 2:9-10
it's our name!
Jesus name belongs to every born-again child of God. According to Romans 8:17, you and I, as believers, are “heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, so that Name belongs to us. “The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now, if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. . . .Romans 8:16-17
it's our authority
The authority that was given to Jesus has been invested in us as believers. Because we have Jesus name, we not only have the right to speak for Him, we have the right to speak by His grace as God. “Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named” Ephesians 1:21
